Network
What the Network plan is for, how it differs from Collective, what it includes and how to set one up.
Network is for one organization that runs many chapters. If your organization has local chapters, circles or teams that each run their own day, Network puts them under one roof while each chapter keeps its own page.
Network or Collective?
Ask who owns the Spaces.
- Collective is for separate groups that work together. Each group owns its own Space, keeps its own members and payouts, and shares a calendar and listings with its partners.
- Network is for one organization. You own the parent Space and every chapter, set the standards, and see the whole network.
What Network includes
Everything Collective does except Partners, plus the chapter tools below. A Network is one owner, so the Spaces under it are chapters you own rather than partners; a chapter lists its Circles and Journeys with the parent and with other chapters the same way a Collective's member Spaces do.
- Chapters. A Network starts with three chapters, each with the Business tools. Each chapter after that is the same flat monthly price, up to 25. See the pricing page.
- One membership. A member who joins the network is a member in every chapter.
- One network calendar and home, with every chapter's events in one place.
- A roll-up report of members, Events and revenue across every chapter.
- Central admins, who see the whole network, and chapter leaders, who see their own chapter.
- Vera AI and a custom domain, included.
- The lowest network fee on customers the network introduces. Your own people and your tips stay at 0%, as they are on every plan.
Two ways to run a Network
- Partner Network keeps your chapters in the Frequency community. Your network and every chapter wear the Frequency Partner badge, your events show on the Frequency calendar, and tickets and memberships run through Frequency checkout. You are listed in discovery. You start it yourself, with a 14 day trial. Paying for the year is two months free, and there is a yearly package: ten chapters for the price of eight, with a live onboarding session, priority support and a yearly network health review.
- Independent Network is your own community, fully separate from Frequency: your brand, your domain, your members and your data, with no Partner badge and no listing. It starts with a call and includes setup and onboarding. It is a yearly agreement with a one-time setup fee; the Networks page has the figures. Select Talk to us on the Networks page.
If you remove the Partner badge or disconnect your chapters from Frequency, your plan moves to Independent pricing at your next renewal. Talk to us before you do.
Add a chapter
Open Plan and usage on your Network, then find Chapters. Choose a Space you own and select Add chapter. You must own both Spaces. Select Detach beside a chapter to restore its own plan. Nothing it has built is deleted or moved.
Set up a Network
Open the Networks page and select Start a Network: you create or pick the Space that will be the parent, choose Network on its billing page, then add your chapters. Running more than 25 chapters, or wanting an Independent Network, is a call, so select Talk to us there and tell us how many chapters you run.
Subscribe to the whole Network's calendar
A Network's calendar feed is network-wide. Add webcal://frequencylocal.com/spaces/<your-slug>/calendar.ics
to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar once and every approved chapter event arrives with the parent's own.
A chapter's feed carries only that chapter.
