Collective
What the Collective plan is for, what it includes beyond Business, where the network page and report live, and what is still being built.
Collective is for separate groups that work together. If you run a community and partner with others that run their own, Collective links you up while each group keeps its own Space, members and payouts.
If one organization runs many chapters, that is Network instead.
It sits above Business on the Space ladder: members join, Crew hosts, a Space runs, Business sells, Collective connects, and Network unites.
What Collective includes
Everything Business does, plus:
- A partner hub. Invite up to ten Spaces you do not own to partner with yours. Each keeps its own members, payouts and settings.
- Vera AI included, with no separate add-on.
- A lower network fee on customers the network introduces. Your own people and your tips stay at 0%, as they are on every plan.
- Higher allowances across the board, and five editable QR codes.
- A network page with your member Spaces and one shared calendar of their events.
- A private Collective report that adds up members, Events and revenue across the network.
- Shared listings, so a Journey or Circle from one member Space can show on another.
- One membership across the network, and a share of ticket money for a co-host Space.
Each of these is explained below.
The price and the yearly price are on the pricing page. While the Founding intro is open, a new Collective starts on the Founding price under the list price and keeps it for as long as it keeps the plan. The Founding offer ends January 1; a Collective that takes it has grandfathered pricing, and one that starts before December 1 also gets the founder badge. Paying yearly gives you two months free, the same as every plan.
Manage your member Spaces
Member Spaces are for Collectives that already ran them before chapters moved to Network. If yours does, everything below still works; a new Collective partners instead, and one organization with chapters takes Network.
Open Plan and usage on your Collective, then find Member Spaces. Choose a Space you own and select Attach Space. You must own both Spaces. A Space already attached elsewhere or containing other Spaces cannot be attached as a member.
Three member Spaces are included. In Member Spaces, set Extra Spaces beyond the three included and select Save extra Spaces. You see the exact monthly or yearly price before saving, on the same billing interval as your Collective. The change is prorated on your next invoice. Detach member Spaces first if you want to pay for fewer extras.
Active extra-Space purchases add room for more. If an extra-Space purchase ends, existing member Spaces stay attached and new attachments wait until there is room.
Select Detach beside a member Space to restore its own plan. Nothing it has built is deleted or moved. If the Collective is cancelled or suspended, member Spaces immediately use their own plans. A member Space that already has a paid plan keeps that plan.
Your network page
A Collective that runs member Spaces keeps a Network tab on its Space page (a Collective that partners has a Partners tab instead). It shows:
- Member Spaces, each as a card that opens that Space.
- Up next, the next few events from across the network.
- Shared calendar, one month view of events from the Collective and its member Spaces.
A member Space appears here once it is active and listed in the directory. A private member Space stays off this page, even though it is still part of your Collective. As the owner you also see Manage member Spaces, which takes you to Plan and usage.
The Network tab shows while your Collective plan is active and your Space is connected to the network. If the plan ends, the page goes away and your member Spaces carry on as they are.
Your Collective report
Open Your reach from Manage. Below your own reach numbers, the owner of the Collective sees a private section called Your Collective. It adds up the whole network, all time:
- Spaces, Active members, Events and Net revenue.
- Gross revenue, Fees and Refunds underneath.
- A link to each member Space's own reach page.
Each member and each Event is counted once, even if they show up in more than one Space. Revenue is in US dollars, after refunds, and covers settled sales, tickets, gifts and split shares. Membership billing is not included. Only the Collective's owner sees this section, and only while the Collective plan is active.
Listing a Journey or Circle with another Space
Open Manage circles, then Collective listings. Choose a published Journey or listed Circle and an active member Space or partner Collective. Its owner sees the original title and approves or declines the request. An approved listing appears on that Space's Journey or Circle page.
The original owner, price and entry rules stay with the Journey or Circle. A listing never gives the other Space permission to edit it or adds people to a closed Circle. Either owner can remove it. Private Journeys, unlisted Circles and inactive Spaces do not appear through a listing.
One membership across the network
A paid membership in your Collective counts in every member Space. Someone who joins the Collective sees members-only tickets, paid-members Circles and the people list in each member Space as a member, with no second join. Their join card there says which Collective the membership comes from and sends them back to it to manage or cancel.
This follows the same rule as everything else a member Space inherits: it holds while the Space is attached, active and owned by the same account as the Collective, and ends the moment the Space is detached or the Collective plan ends. A membership bought directly in a member Space stays its own.
Sharing ticket money with a co-host
When another Space is an accepted Collaborator on one of your events, you can give it a share of every ticket. Open the event's settings, find Ticket shares under Collaborators, and set a whole percent beside each Space. Together the shares never take the whole ticket; your Space always keeps a share.
A few rules keep the money honest:
- Only the owner of the Space hosting the event can set shares.
- A Space has to have payouts set up before it can take a share. A share for a Space that is still setting up is refused until it is ready.
- The network fee comes out of every share in proportion, including yours. Your own people and your tips stay at 0% plus card processing, as always.
- Shares apply to tickets sold after you save them. A refund takes each share back in the same proportion.
Each Space sees its share in its own earnings. Revenue splits on Journeys are not here yet; a co-hosted Journey still pays the Space that sells it.
What is still being built
We would rather tell you straight than sell you a promise. One piece of the network is still on the way:
- Revenue splits on co-hosted Journeys.
The price you start at holds while it lands. We will tell you when it goes live.
Is Collective right for me?
- If you run one community, a studio, or a business, take Business. It does everything you need to sell.
- If you and other owners run separate groups and want to partner, take Collective.
- If one organization runs several chapters, take Network.
- If you are a verified nonprofit partnering with others, ask about Non Profit Collective, which carries no network fee.
You can move between Business and Collective whenever you like. See Billing.
