A regular time to gather. Give them a rhythm.

A regular Circle gives you a time and place to meet again. Try a Thursday walk or a weekly class, and take your time getting to know the people there.

Set a regular time for your Circle, plan a program people can follow together, or offer a membership. Give people a clear way to find the next date.

Bring someone. Then host. Invite someone to host with you.

Know someone who’d like the next gathering? Send them an invitation. If you want to host, start with a walk, a shared meal or a Circle of your own.

Share the hosting with a regular, or invite another local group to gather with you. Paid Space plans and introduction fees are separate. Your own bookings carry no network fee, plus card processing.

QuestionsAsked and answered

Before you jump in.

What is Frequency?

Local groups that keep meeting. Frequency is a Community Collective: a network of small local groups (Circles), the Events near you, and the Spaces (businesses and organizations) that host them. It is built to get people off their phones and into the same room, again.

Who is Frequency for?

Two sides of one network. People looking for local groups and events near them, who want to find familiar faces they can keep coming back to. And the hosts and places that bring people together: studios, cafes, gyms, shops, clubs and nonprofits.

How much does Frequency cost?

People join free. Host free with Crew. You pay when you start charging. Selling starts at Business. Paid tickets, paid memberships, donations, shop checkout and booking deposits open there. Tips stay open on every tier, with no platform fee, only card processing. Full pricing: /pricing.

Does Frequency take a cut of tips or my own bookings?

No. Tips carry no platform fee on any plan, plus card processing, and you keep 100% of the bookings you bring in yourself, after card processing. The network fee applies only to a customer the network introduced, once, at their first purchase. After that they are your people. Your own audience and your tips are free of it on every plan (card processing still applies), and Non Profit pays none at all.

How does Frequency work?

Open What's happening (/discover/events), the calendar of public Events near you, or browse Circles (/discover/circles). Save your spot, show up, and check in at the door. Hosts start a Circle or open a Space for free, post Events, and take RSVPs and tips; paid tickets and memberships open at Business.

Where is Frequency available?

Frequency opens in North County San Diego on December 1, 2026. Open your Space free before then. It is local-first, and anyone can join from anywhere: Circles and Events appear wherever hosts start them, and a city gets its own page (/discover/cities) once enough is happening there. Each Event is shown in its own local time; the community's home time zone is Pacific time (America/Los_Angeles).

Build circles, not walls

Come as you are. Find a way to gather.

The quiet morning and the loud night. A community table, a walk with neighbors, a dance floor. There’s more than one way to gather. Find one you’d like to try, or make a place for others to join you.
